The saucer in the LEGO model does separate.
Saucer separation continued to be used in rare but notable moments beyond Season 1, including The Best of Both Worlds and Star Trek Generations.

Also I love these movies but I will say this with my entire very slightly tattooed chest.

I think a lot of it happens when you have your plot planned out but when you go to actually write it, you realize your character wouldn't say/do the thing you planned in the way you planned it, so you realize you need to make a change. Because it's character based, it usually works out for the best.

Standing in the bookstore crying my eyes out, I must have looked like a lunatic reading this. (Of course I bought it, could not recommend it higher.)

Good morning Womble! Finally wrapping up the great Joan D. Vinge's Snow Queen/Tiamat cycle with Tangled Up In Blue this week. Also just read Star Wars: Dark Empire II (Legends canon) for the first time, not my favorite.

I like to listen to Lofi Beats videos when I'm writing, so I know I for one be using your videos going forward. If you ever do a video with pangolins in it, I'll share it in my YouTube video descriptions 😉
