Starting to really work with Tailscale, and discovered an issue on my openSUSE Kalpa machine when using "tailscale ssh" to access it. I was able to log in just fine, but couldn't access my home directory.

The atomic Linux saga continues...
I guess I'm (mostly) all in on the atomics now.
Yesterday I noticed several issues with my laptop running tumbleweed, including finding it completely powered off at times. Dug through system logs but couldn't find anything obvious.

I feel attacked.
I had my first major issue with my openSUSE system this morning. Came back to my desk with the computer powered off. Strange, I thought. So I powered it on. Logged in, and plasmashell crashed 3 times while trying to load, then finally just failed completely.

And just like that, it all sort of just fell apart. Dogs still got their walk.

Alright, the bug bit again, and my OpenBSD system got wiped. I installed openSUSE Kalpa on it. Kalpa is built on top of openSUSE's MicroOS (atomic/immutable distribution) and uses KDE Plasma as the desktop environment.

Aurora stable just rebased to Fedora 42 (as well as all the other Universal Blue images did). So now you've got the latest and greatest from Fedora for your immutable image.
The more I play around with Aurora, the more I like it. I'm even rethinking how I do packages on my non-immutable installs.
