Thinking about today and cons also made me realize why I never really had that "you're too old for fandom" mentality. I've been going to cons since I was... 15? My dad used to take me when I was a minor then started going by myself or with friends. I've ALWAYS seen adults in fandom spaces.

I had a cute little interaction with a teenager and fellow nerd while waiting for my coffee order today. She apparently clocked that I had an Arcane lockscreen and we ended up yapping a bit about our favorite characters and songs and then went on our merry way🌿

I don't remember how we came to the topic of dates bringing flowers as a presents but apparently my coworkers think I'm a bit weird for prefering to get Lego flowers or a Flower/bouquet puzzle or something akin to that, instead of *actual* flowers.

INTENSE weekend. I got to see Aurora and Massive Attack (and many others) at a music festival, which was mindblowingly incredible! But then crashed with a huge headache and body-aches and slept for 17+ hours straight. Overall, worth it! I'm exhausted tho.

It's official, my one and only kidney is NOT compromised! After a week of pain, anxiety, uncertainty, doctors, labs and scans... I can finally breathe. It could've been much worse, dodged a bullet. Take care of you kidneys, kids.

PLEASE PLEASE, no more tightlacing on bare skin on period dramas I beg youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. At this point it just pulls me out of the story completely and makes me want to gauge my eyes out. STOP IT. (Call me a snob whatever, I'm just so damn tired *sobs in fashion history*)
