Ex ITV & BBC crew. Winner of teaching award. Currently back at Uni getting an MSc in AI in Creative Industries (I want a say in the AI business.) Loves a good story.
It’s interesting that hiding behind AI however is considered a poor judgement excuse rather than a malicious one. Like “trusting” AI is understandable. Why are we expected to give stupidity the benefit of the doubt, it makes us all look stupid?

If untreated people with ADHD are 3 times more likely to develop dementia and over 5 times more likely to have early onset of dementia. This is a health issue.

You mean you don’t want the billionaires to have more money and power? You just want the sorts of human rights that were written in the 1948 Universal Declaration?: Enough money to live comfortably, free education, the right to buy property, the right to join a union, the right to privacy?

Wow. What a bad take. Reducing someone’s skill and background knowledge down to what they ‘do’ is like suggesting theatre actors only perform a couple of hours per night and they’re just reciting someone else’s words. You could do that with so many jobs and it’s missing out the humanity of it.

She’s not stupid. She knew all along it was unlawful. As we could all see war crimes were happening and European Governments clearly turn a blind eye, because they needed to protect the interests in those they serve, the hyper rich.

I really liked this show. It’s really relatable and like what it says about us and our principles.

The rich and powerful know where the revolutions start so defund things that spark them (the arts, community centres, libraries and universities). Don’t expect a hero to start a revolution. It takes a bunch of people getting together, looking out for each other. Revolution starts with love.

You may want to put a word search in the Epstein files #JustSayin

Jeez. It’s relentless

That is how you are supposed to be using it. It’s not a search engine

Broadcast tv has strict rules, however streaming services and social media have much fewer rules but the public does not know this. AI is largely unregulated and the public is also unaware of this. The public needs to be protected and it is unfair to put that on the user who may be vulnerable.

Why have I never seen this before? It’s brilliant

We should have had strict regulations in place before Palantir was permitted anywhere near the NHS. Our data is worth an absolute fortune and should be treated with the strictest confidence. The NHS should be publicly owned as should the data company working to update it.

Agree. But then there is also the problem of learning stuff that feels both removed from the world and irrelevant. I know teachers do an amazing job, but there are limitations to what they can do with an outdated curriculum and an emphasis on tests.

We need a clear focus on what education means. Are we educating kids to be workers or to be creative thinkers? Because everyone knows school could be updated and better but it kinda feels like the ruling class don’t want their people *too* educated.
