I live in a very, large 55+ community. The first residents moved here in 2000. The sounds & sights of paramedics arriving is a daily occurrence; it comes with the territory. Many people here are in their 70’s, 80’s & 90’s living at home with the assistance of a home health aid. They are lifesavers!

Retired RN here. Working as a healthcare aid is a very hard job. The pay is low. It’s physically and emotionally exhausting.
