Basically, Solution 9 is a pretty textbook example of a dystopia that uses a beautiful exterior to hide just how rotten it is. Its a classic trope in science fiction.

Honestly as someone who is very much into scifi, it gets frustrating when players miss some of the very obvious "science fiction dystopia" vibes that Solution 9 has, just because its protrayed as bright and vibrant and clean.
Not every sci fi dystopia will look like some dark, moody cyberpunk city.

When I taught Civics, I used Supreme Court cases to trace our expansion of rights to demonstrate democratic values.
If I were still teaching Civics today, I would need to place the concepts of 'precedent,' 'stare decisis,' and 'rule of law' in the trash bin.

A couple days after Trump won reelection there was a 60 something year old dad and his 40 something year old son wearing Trump gear from head to toe at the grocery store and you could tell they went there to gloat but everyone was just like “I’m trying to buy chicken” so they were really pissed off
