A van with Dazzler painted on it is still cooler than a cybertruck.
"I was married, but I’m not married anymore. Women don’t like the vehicle."

A guy who used to be a comedian & is good at improv and dealing with hecklers and who has also spent the last 3 years in a war zone turns out to be a guy you can’t out-alpha, imagine that

How much Elon Musk makes from the government a day: $8 million.

How much a senior on Social Security gets a day: $65

Guess which budget Musk and Trump want to cut?

I had polio when i was 9. I was taken from my parents & placed in a Hospital for contageous diseases- the polio ward. I would see them once a week - thru the glass window at the end of my ward. I could not walk. It was terrifying. Kids died. Iron lungs were awful. Dont let RFK Jr ban the vaccine

AI movies: as bad as you’d imagine (possibly worse!)

Full disclosure: I have a TCL tv and I hope they can track how much of their “content” that I am not watching.
We went to the premiere of the first commercially streamed AI-Generated Movies

"I am not watching student films made with love by an enthusiastic high school student. I am watching films that were made for TCL, the largest TV manufacturer on Earth"

SWEEPING GENERALIZATION!: As someone who was an older teen in the mid-to-late 90s, I used to think late 90s was awesome. Then I realized the early nineties had Twin Peaks and Nirvana and the late 90s had Jerry Springer and Kid Rock.

Early 90s wins, and it isn’t even close.

Trying to imagine a timeline where moms of the worst dudes of history went on tv all the time to vouch for their jobs of their sons.

I mean, imagine the monsters of history, faces red as their moms go full delulu telling a distressed population “my son is a good boy.”

I was that strange kid who at the age of 12 loved going to Antique Malls, and frankly, I still am.
If your antique store isn't a dangerous labyrinth that takes up multiple floors of 3 separate early 20th century storefronts with doors knocked through the brick walls to join them into one Symphony Of The Night castle of deals then frankly I'm not interested.

Almost that time of year, folks… you know, that time of year in which I write down which Criterion Collection titles I want from the Barnes & Noble bi-yearly Criterion 50% off sale.

Oh, and also when I put up a fake pine tree in my living room.

I love the happy Honda-days!

Wow, who would have thought Jake Paul could beat a 58 yr old? What’s next, beating up an entire nursing home?

I deleted my Twitter (no, never going to call it X) today. I feel a great sense of relief and my phone needed the space anyway!

Ok, @bsky.app this invalid handle thing is kind of annoying, but I understand you have a lot of new people here, since the bird app is overrun with… let’s just say bad faith, not fun, terrible accounts. Hopefully the dust will settle shortly and things will be as intended soon.

Ok, I’m here… I hope this isn’t completely stupid.

(this is a phrase that I’m sure will be repeated a lot the next four years)
