Honestly? I'm scared. I was holding out hope that they were right and it "won't be that bad". I was trying to hold onto a sliver of normalcy. But if this is the behinning? My chosen family isn't from the US, how do I protect them? How do I keep them safe? I'm scared.

3. Their homes. On mass over here, everything is sterile. There are more "real" creators obviously, but it's sterile. All the home tours I've seen have been so cozy and lived in with things that make them happy and mix matched furniture. Even the influencers.

2. Pets roaming free. Not dogs and cats. But rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. Those are caged animals over here. Every video I've seen those animals just roam. It's wild. You may see a one off over here, but over there it's most of them and I think that's cool.
