Monkey found a play in the book shop that seemed appropriate!

Definitely worth getting it in for that, good grief

I got a test refused recently because I labeled it wrong apparently, I don't remember! I sometimes transpose numbers and it's definitely worse in stressful situations like doing medical tests on a time limit. So frustrating.

It was horribly hot in the sun even walking between stored but eased off by about 6:15pm. We also found some vegan ice-cream 😁 Google said it was 31°C when I got home, so it must have been significantly higher earlier. Kitchen living room a much more comfortable 26.8° C.

So this tendency to fantasize—when times change and things arent what they were—that the poorest and most vulnerable are actually some sort of malicious freeloading class is a very old one.

The “able-bodied poor” is an easy way to reassert hierarchies and blame those who can’t fight back.

The government rushing a bill affecting millions of disabled people through Parliament in just 8 days. No proper consultation. No committee stage. This is why we say "Nothing About Us Without Us." Our lives, our expertise, our voices matter. #TakingThePIP

Last Wednesday when a politician was in the news I started thinking (and writing) about the times I have cried in work and study - it's A LOT. And quite a few of them are triggered by the DWP and access barriers, not my conditions themselves. Yet we are not trying hard enough to work? #TakingThePIP

I don't think it makes it less important or that you care any less if you can't cope with this. Two readings just 8 days apart is fundementally inaccessible and intended to push us out. Figuring out what we can realistically do and not letting them destroy us right now seems important #TakingThePIP
