This is such an important thing to push. Tell your older relatives too - they're not going to need whatever AI juice Microsoft wants to peddle today.
I also got force added to the new Microsoft with AI plan, but if you go in and hit cancel you get the option of going back to the $9.99 no AI family plan.

You will likely see "Throttled by Twitter" a couple of times but it'll come right eventually. Unless Melon blocks it entirely
There are a number of tools for finding people you follow on Twitter on Bluesky, but I've been happiest with this one: skeet.labnotes.org
It has some issues but has generally helped me find old friends. I use it every few weeks.

I kinda hope this works. That will mean we can have "If you stop being dicks about Roe v. Wade, I'll wear a tutu" and "Leave trans kids alone and I'll wear a ball gown". And he'd probably pull them off too.
