Beanbag update,

We're going to get some blood tests done tomorrow. Hopefully his red blood cell count is up. Saturday night it was 7%. He needs to be in the high 20s low 30s.

He's still himself but he's not eating besides us force feeding nutrient paste.

That's where we are at.

Todays Beanbag update:

Woke up to him having urinated in his cage and there being a little blood, but that is to be expected. Nothing worrying.

We gave him some meds and an herbivore paste provided by the vet.

Now he is sleeping/basking. Hopefully absorbing the medicine and the nutrient paste.

Update with (sort of) good news.

Beanbag will still need surgery but he is active and seems to no longer be bleeding internally so I can take him home from the vet today and give him medical treatments to help him with anemia.

Surgery will still happen but instead of tomorrow it's a week later.

Update:

Going to make a gofundme ASAP after the vet emails me an itemized list of what I'm paying for.

Initially this was going to be anywhere from 2k-2.5k but it is now going to be 800 more because, turns out, Beanbag is anemic and the surgery could be a huge risk. So were looking at 3000+.

Hey so got a bit of a crisis going on.

Beanbag pooped a ton of blood tonight and turns out he has a golf ball sized urolith (like a gallstone) and the surgery to remove it is going to be 2000+ dollars...

I know I just asked you all to help with my car but help me here pls
