Dozens of Montreal’s community organizations have operated out of buildings owned by the CSSDM since the 2020 education reform. These spaces could be reclaimed at any time, leaving organizations vulnerable to eviction. That's what happened to the 15 groups at William-Hingston.

🏠🌳 Montreal has a long history of using environmental projects to attract capital into the city. Parc-Extension residents say that puts them in a bind: greenify and risk gentrification, or keep dealing with increasingly hot summer temperatures.
