Remember that every dollar in the bank account of a billionaire like Bezos, Zuckerberg, or Musk came from the pockets of people like us.

Start taking it back.
I have deleted every Black Friday email and ignored every social media post from Amazon, Target, and Home Depot. I am honoring the boycott. If I buy anything, it's from a local, small, or minority-owned business. Let's all use our money to take back our power.

After 20 years in the Navy, Buzz Grambo thought he'd spend his retirement playing video games and watching baseball. Instead, he patrols the streets of Baltimore to protect his neighbors from ICE. He even upgraded his scooter to a Segway that reaches 26 mph to keep up with the agents. My latest:

Whenever I see "use AI or get left behind" I remember this children's poem by Grigori Oster:

If you ever want to get
ahead of your peers,
Never chase after those
Who are currently leading.
In five minutes, disappointed,
they will run back this way,
Not having moved,
you will be in the lead.

We absolutely need universal basic income as a secure floor below which no one can fall and everyone can build from. It should not be normalized for people to seek 2nd, 3rd, and 4th jobs in order to make enough money to survive or have a backup plan in case of unexpected job and income loss.
One feature of the collapse we are living through is that things poorer people have had to do are creeping up the income scale

They can spin it however but struggling to make ends meet with a hodge podge of sortof-jobs is both very normal and very bad
