If you want to count all postseason/playoff games, last night's ranks number 7. The top ranked game still is, and might always be, Game 163 in 2009.

Based on those numbers, last night's Game 7 was the second best World Series game of all time, after only Game 6 of 2011 (the David Freese game). The 18-inning Game 3 this year is the 18th best of all time, so two games in one series in the top 20 is amazing.
