When I first got into the games industry, I felt so so so lucky. It was my dream. Now here in 2025 I'm watching as the people who run it drive it into the ground while casting out marginalized folks (who, mind you, were already being treated terribly). Fuck you, cowards.

I would implore gaming studios to really exercise caution on taking these people seriously. Mandatory social media training is a start but you should really be doing your diligence to see where complaints are coming from about your employees because it’s almost always in bad faith.

Like, I've certainly seen the petty sexist criticisms but I feel like I've seen A LOT more of the latter but maybe that's just me?

Normally I wouldn't say anything because usually people are just being petty and sexist but I feel like I'm seeing what fellow White Women say the criticisms of the new T.S. album are are VERY different than the criticisms I'M seeing which are primarily from Women of Color
