This is what happened to me. Employers across the board need to be aware of how harassment campaigns work and do better to protect their employees from them. These people should not have a platform to profit off of harassment.

Jesus fuck. Bungie was even *a subsidiary of Sony* when I set the precedent establishing that companies have a legal obligation to protect their employees from online harassment. It's impossible for Sony Legal not to know about this.

It was important for me to have a woman report on my story and I’m forever grateful of the care that Alyssa put into this. Talking to the press as a game dev is seen as something you just can’t do without repercussions but she has the experience & first hand insight on harassment campaigns
Drew Harrison loved her job and was at Sucker Punch for nearly a decade. I commend her bravery for speaking to me after facing the ire of the most rabid corners of the gamer internet.

I had planned to go to SCAD for graphic design bc my neopets & geocities pages were sick af, then I started dating someone who was doing game design & I realized people’s actual jobs were making games so I was like oh hell yeah I’m doing this now

I’ve seen 2 episodes of Plur1bus so far & I fear I may not make it through for the same reason I did not make it more than 4 episodes into Breaking Bad. I simply cannot stand that the protagonist is incredibly unbearable & constantly makes really bad choices but isn’t funny about it 😫

This is so true for many game devs across the industry, speaking up about mistreatment of yourselves & others is incredibly scary
a lot of people who are members of the Future Class haven't wanted to speak out too openly because of fear of reprisal, having their names black-listed in the industry, potentially giving up future marketing opportunities via The Game Awards, etc
