I think it’s because while people have likely at least some idea of what powerslap is your average person probably couldn’t name any powerslap competitors. Essentially it’s a league where the people who are actually putting their bodies on the line have even less leverage than UFC fighters

It’s a really dumb policy that the Yankees do, like people located in Massachusetts (and possibly other New England states) were barred from purchasing tickets to the Red Sox v Yankees series that’s currently going on.
