Boring. I truly can't remember the last time a Trump official has said anything remotely nuanced or interesting. Every interview should start with one question: 'Has Donald Trump ever done anything wrong at any point in his presidency?' That would let us know whether to tune out the rest.

I do think this is a systemic problem. People feel thrown into this game and no choice but to play it even if it makes them miserable no matter how successful they are.

We keep building up knowing that the building is becoming more fragile the higher it gets and it leaves us always feeling one mistake away from disaster. That uneasiness is likely not substantively different from the uneasiness those wondering where there next meal will come from.

I think the problem for many of us is that in our subconscious we know that security is the most important thing but it isn't exciting so we keep trading it for social validation and ego.

I really believe these guys would show up on court and make the legal case that the mere act of me being alive is a threat against them that requires lethal force.
