First time going to the System Source swap meet. That was fun! Brought home so much free crap which is a bad idea as someone with poor impulse control😅 I did notice it primarily focused around them/their inventory versus the parking lot sellers

Anyone want to take a guess of what the actual problem is? I promise it's not hard, and it's always synonymous with vintage
October 30, 2025 at 8:59 PM

If the AI bubble could pop already, that would be greeaaattt.... dotcom all over again imho.

And with all of that out of the way, it's actually running! The software is licensed to the same person as the invoice so it's a one owner machine. Backing up the hard drive. Uses stacker compression

And lastly the Dallas battery needed attention as well
October 27, 2025 at 1:40 AM
The hard disk drive also needed attention for the same reasons
October 27, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Similar story with the floppy drive. Epson SMD-1100 series

Internal power supply to the system is also leaking which as of no surprise
October 27, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Here is the inside of the power supply. Looks to be built by Panasonic, and of course the output capacitors are leaking
