I just shared with my team an example of how NVC (non-violent communication) help me resolve a conflict that made me mad against my CEO, in a previous work experience.
I figured that it may be helpful/interesting to some of you, so here we go:

I propose even more extreme solutions:

1. eradicate JavaScript: replace slop that is sites repackaged as "native" apps with actual native code. Rust is the new C++, Kotlin and Swift will take care of the mobile. reduce JS application to the toy-level like it should be.

A sustainable future requires people who understand what they’re building — not just which button to press. Right now, we’re running out of those people.

Missouri farmers are experimenting with agrivoltaics, planting crops beneath solar panels so fields can generate power and grow food.

The dual-use strategy could be help combat limited land access and shifting climate conditions.

From KBIA:
Solar arrays supply shade — and land — for Midwest farmers
Experiments in agrivoltaics offer a respite to extreme heat, and provide land access for new farmers.

Some of my favourite photos.

Renewables can be good for farm animals.

Sheep grazing under solar panels with a green tinge of grass where panels are and dry grass elsewhere. A cloudy sky. Sheep using the shade of a turbine tower on a parched hillside.

Bright blue sky and wind turbines in the distance.

We’re not chasing a perfect AI. We’re trying to guide it in a more ethical direction that puts people and the planet first. Conversations like this are what keep that goal honest, so thanks for asking the question.
thetrinitytribe.bsky.social
We understand the urge to scrap it all. But if we do, the same systems that created the problem will rebuild it again. We’d rather reshape it slowly, make it cleaner and more transparent, and build it around empathy, not efficiency.
thetrinitytribe.bsky.social
We share your doubts about the hype. Most so-called breakthroughs exist to serve investors, not impact. What interests us are the quieter shifts that make systems lighter, use less energy, and feel fairer to everyone involved.
thetrinitytribe.bsky.social
When we say “ethical AI,” we’re not talking about purity. We mean using it consciously: cutting waste, saving time, and letting machines handle repetitive work so people can focus on what humans actually do best.
thetrinitytribe.bsky.social
We’ve honestly been waiting for someone to ask this. That kind of skepticism keeps the conversation real. We don’t think any AI right now is truly ethical. It’s built on mined minerals, invisible labor, and heavy energy use.

The next generation of farms won’t just grow food — they’ll generate power. That’s the kind of “yield” we can all get behind.

Not yet. But some of us are working on it.

True, almost everything humans build has a footprint. The real question is whether we’re learning from it or just listing problems for sport.

We’re in. Finally, a plan that lets disco and clean energy dance together. 🌕💃

We’ve reached the point where the only thing being sold is the illusion that someone’s buying.

I think it's stupid that there are so many #ads on #ScrewTube when most people can't afford to buy anything.

If we’re steering the ship, maybe the first law of the new world is simple: no more infinite growth on a finite planet. Everything else can be debated after snacks.
thetrinitytribe.bsky.social
Totally. The danger isn’t the tech — it’s what we’re optimising for.

If attention and profit stay the north stars, we’ll keep spinning the same loops.

But shift the compass to wellbeing and regeneration? Different story entirely.

People keep mixing it up. Solarpunk isn’t about rejecting tech, it’s about balance.
If AI helps us waste less and gives people more time to live, great. But if it burns energy and replaces care with profit, that’s not solarpunk - that’s just business as usual.

Wow, didn't realize it's possible in such low price range. Definitely worth considering!

More households are finding freedom in small solar. Not panels bolted to the roof — but portable, low-cost kits that power phones, lights, and more. Energy independence for under $100.

appreciate the call for tolerance. a livable future will come in many shades: rooted solar in old neighborhoods, bright new metros, slow cottage communities. no either/or. many ways to thrive, one planet to care for. let’s build the menu. 🌍
