AI (which is really just Machine Learning) is genuinely good tech and helps provide more accurate weather forecasting, medical research, etc.
GenAI is basically taking that cool tech, providing an easy interface (LLMs) and grifting everyone into believing that it is magic

Lyrics to my favourite songs inspired me to start writing poetry when I was 13! At the same time, I taught myself how to play drums by getting a set of sticks, a practice pad, and 2 pillows and playing along to my favourite songs!
I taught myself to produce with Ableton during COVID because of NIN!

Using genAI for concept art is so fucking stupid because like... that's where you get the cool shit. Thats the blue sky phase where artists make pieces of art that will be seen by a teenager later and change their life forever. Why would you want to start from mediocre. Why would you do that.
