Rebuilding my enemy state machine this week!
The old version worked, but adding new behaviors felt like surgery every time.
Now I’m switching to a more modular, flexible setup so I can plug in new enemy states without breaking everything.

With the release of Silksong (which is amazing so far 😱) a lot of attention goes to @teamcherry.bsky.social and their game. In order to offset this a little I put another Indie game into my shopping cart and bought it as well and I encourage everyone to do the same. #indiegames #supportdevs

Finally improved performance in my game a little and also FINALLY manged to get rid of a bug that would pause the game when the player dies, before giving the Game-Over-screen. Almost ready for another small alpha. Next up: Improving some art. #indiegame #gamedev

Didn’t have time to finish my #GMTK Jam25 entry, but here’s a clip of the prototype!
It’s a bullet hell platformer with just one boss fight.
Every time you hit the boss, the level resets. If you land a hit in the same spot next time, the damage multiplies and the boss has a LOT of HP, so aim true!
