saw someone asking what trans people did to deserve all the vitriol, & nothing actual of course. but transness breaks the rule #1 of the conservative hierarchical worldview, that your position is to a large degree defined by your birth. choosing to put yourself in a different tier is heretical

that the leading democrats would rather have president trump than president sanders (for instance) is obvious. also true is they would rather have dictator-for-life trump than have to give up any of their power in the party to anyone under 60

Should Democrats move to the right? Absolutely not. That's morally wrong and bad politics.

The real lesson of 2024 is that Democrats must become an anti-establishment party ready to shake up the system on behalf of working people.
