I hope leadership listens to their employees and community and realize what a boondoggle genAI is. Don’t waste your good will on this.

My higher-ups at work are ALSO pushing AI really hard in our respective field. And guess what? It’s useless. Every “feature” is something we can do ourselves far faster (i.e. reading with eyeballs) or it CREATES more work due to how often it’s incorrect or incoherent.

Every time you use genAI to make your little Power Point or summarize your current synopsis or whatever the hell you think you need it for—

You are materially harming the human beings who are forced to live near and *pay for* these data centers and the energy they waste.
