yes, I print the digital sketch out onto heavy-duty paper then mount it to MDF board using matte medium, (mostly to save time and preserve the details of the line work). Its my favourite way of working with digital sketches and allows me to experiment a bit more!

Another calendar piece! One of those pieces that when I did the digital sketch, I forgot I couldn't copy & paste in oils. Dany in one of her most iconic moments, taking control of the Unsullied.

I've never shared all of the images from the official SoIaF calendar I did for 2020, choosing scenes that inspired me from across the series. These are all 2ft square oil paintings, and remain some of the most intense, accomplished work of my career. Up first is Ned and Cat under the heart tree.

a painting from the GRRM book Game of Thrones, depicting a couple in medieval style garb, a man and a woman. Both perch on the roots of a huge white tree. He is cleaning blood from his sword, which pools into the abstract shape of a stags head in the water, an omen of things to come.

Not quite as tall as you are, but I got a refurbished Herman Miller Aeron and I swear by it, spending occasionally upwards of 10 hours a day in it when I'm on a work push or gaming a lot on it.
