Hilarious that Southwest asks passengers to volunteer to check carry on items for free on every flight now that we have to pay for checked bags now. I just had to pay $180 because one of my 2 bags was 8 lbs over. I couldn’t find my luggage scale at 3 am this morning. 😭

It’s really hard to describe to people who are not artists how survival mode does *not* inspire creativity, as the myth would have us believe. It suppresses creativity as you try to limit every possible risk – and the opportunities that come with them.

1000%. When I came out as non-binary, my real friends adjusted to my preferred pronouns with no questions asked. But my ex… he was the last to even try. 🙃 it’s not haaaard if you caaaaaare.
