It’s not difficult or complex. It’s actually really simple. The particulars are unimportant. Some people decide to stay and some people decide to leave. It’s a personal decision and a decision that doesn’t need outside judgement.

Too, I reiterate my earlier statement. Those of us who choose to leave, are going to leave regardless of what a glorified chat bot tells them or doesn’t tell them. 🙄

What’s your point? That kid went to chatGPT because it’s obvious that they had no one else to turn too. Not that it matters. As it’s a personal decision to stay or leave and that’s a hill I’ll happily die on. 🙄

Who in the hell are you to tell those of us who are in unimaginable pain, every second of every day, that we have to stay? The only person who gets to tell me that is my husband. You don’t know me and you most certainly didn’t know any of them, either. Stay in your lane and stay out of ours.

I am in intractable pain every single second of every day. I understand 100% why some people choose to die. I don’t want to die, because I have four wonderful children to finish raising and a wonderful husband of whom I have a reservation with a porch swing in Maine, thirty-five-years from now.

Are you purposefully being this obtuse? Neither OpenAI or ChatGPT are responsible for these deaths. People who truly want to die, are going to find a way. Perhaps you should take a step back, remove this post and respect these people, who were in so much pain, their only recourse was death.
