If your main criticism of Polanski is “all his politics is just meme’s and slogans” then I’d say the fact that what he’s accomplished in five months is a bigger criticism of the other main parties than anything else.

I remember working at a warehouse when the “I identify as an attack helicopter” joke was new and some lad made it, it got completely misread by the people who he made the joke to then faced a heap of transphobic abuse until he quit. Did not feel sorry for him one bit.

I do think the sticking point will be when they start going after drag.
I do think the wave of transphobia in the UK won’t end with a bang or moment of triumph, but a quiet whimpering of “oh heavens” when the sensible journo’s realise the nature of the side they threw their lot in with.
