Engineer, guitarist, manga enjoyer. He/Him
Yuki Tabata setting up the big final blow in this Black Clover fight, bringing the team together, just to introduce Noelle's hero moment with the most gratuitous upskirt ass-shot panel.

Man. Come on.

The Flying V is simply the most powerful guitar.

Ergonomic? No. Practical? Barely. Imbued with untold metaphysical power by humanity's rebellious spirit? Yes, absolutely.

Not a big Protomen guy, but Light's Last Stand is a monumental song. It has like 5 emotional climaxes and an out-of-nowhere sax solo, it is transcendent.

Ado on The First Take, we're starting 2026 strong.

Being at my family's house for the holidays means I am being exposed to the new Chapelle thing and this blows.

I'm already cynical about the corporate holiday thank you email, but getting one that's very obviously AI generated? Insulting. Just don't send anything at all.

Finally had time to sit down with Love Bullet and sometimes things just have it. A wonderful cast of cute goofballs, funnier than I thought it would be, and the action is TOP notch. Inee's art has a lot of short, clean lines that make it feel tight, and great page layout makes it flow effortlessly.
Love Bullet secured.

Sick of seeing/hearing news stories about how AI is so pervasive in all our lives, and how important it is for our daily lives, and we can't live without it.

Yet another one on WBUR. Shut the fuck up, you hacks.

Every day is a good day to not give Crunchyroll your money.

(This allowed you to watch certain titles for free without an active sub with ads)

As of reporting there is no changes with the other tiers

Started reading After God by Sumi Endo. Wasn't sold on it immediately because the follow-through on edgelord premises tend to whiff more often than not, but half-way through volume 1 and I am all-in.

Otr has had consistently odd pacing as it tries to find its footing, but the last few weeks really feel like a cancelation announcement is incoming. Rooting for Kawaguchi, though.

Kagurabachi rules, man

The Kamunabi: Yes, we used an evil power to slaughter enemies of the state abroad, and we don't want that to happen again but we're 100% keeping that power around.

The Hishaku: Actually we should use that power domestically to enforce order.

Chihiro: *sick sword shit*

This, too, is an xbox.
Valve is making a console. The Steam Machine, a sleek box with the guts of a mid-range PC that runs SteamOS, will arrive in early 2026. Prices TBD, but unlike the failed Steam Machine initiative from a decade ago, this is Valve's own device. Big news www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Saw some guys at a Newbury Comics the other day looking for a manga they saw online, didn't remember what it was called, so I helped them out.

I was floored it was Tower Dungeon. Word is finally spreading.
