Here are some security suggestions for Signal.
* DIGITAL SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS Signal Better Practices: X NEVER SCREENSHOT signal chats!! (exception: if you need receipts for harassment or other problematic behavior) X Don't share whereabouts, protest plans, or past protest attendance in public chats. × Don't post non-legal activities, ideas or plans in chats. Signal chats are encrypted but can still be screenshotted or infiltrated by users. × "DELETE FOR EVERYONE" - If someone posts something that implicates themselves or others hey are the only person who can delete the essage for everyone. NOTIFY PEOPLE TO DELETE THEIR POST and anyone who replies to their post (it reshares the original message until it is deleted). Do not rely on the "edit" function; EDIT HISTORY IS VIEWABLE. X Don't initiate burning a chat without conferring with others or admins directly × Treat even vetted large chats as if they are infiltrated - don't say anything you wouldn't feel comfortable having read back to you in court. DEPERSONALIZE: avoid using "", "we"or "you" when discussing actions or information. Don't share names, identifiable information. DELETE TRACKERS from links - when you share ks, delete everything after the "?" found in the link. Otherwise the link will record who clicks and connect them to the sender. Consider sending screenshots of PDFs or graphics instead of clickable links • If you realize you are going to be arrested and have time, notify someone in chats via signal, uninstall the signal app and turn off your phone. • If someone else is arrested, notify a chat admin, remove links from chat descriptions, and remove them from signal chats. DIY Sudecon wipes. These are messy and sticky, but easy to make.
How to make wipes for chemical weapons. Mix - 1 gallon warm water, 9 cups white sugar, 2 tablespoons citric acid. To this mix, gently stir in 21 fluid ounces of baby shampoo. Soak napkins or paper towels in the solution. Squeeze out excess. Place a couple of wipes in individual sealed ziploc bags. Make 200-300 packs. Recipe by rosehip medic collective, portland, oregon, USA These are perishable. Keeps a couple weeks in the fridge or a few days room temp. You can cut the recipe to make smaller batches. Apply to skin only. Water or saline for the eyes. Turn head to the side and try to aim a light jet of water at the inside corner of the eye.

DIY Respirator:
Yellow background. How to make a makeshift tear gas mask: You will need an exacto-style knife, white glue, a Sharpie-like marker, an N95-style or painters mask, a roll of foam insulation, and an empty 2L soda bottle (discard the cap). 1. Use a permanent marker to draw a U-shaped area big enough to fit your face. 2. Cut away the bottom of the bottle just above the ridged area and discard it. 3. Cut along the lines of the template you drew to remove the U-shaped section. 4. Glue a single length of foam insulation to fold over the edges of the bottle until it is completed covered. This will form the seal against your face. 5. Remove the two elastic bands and metal nose bridge from the N95 mask. Set the elastic bands aside and discard the metal bridge. Push the mask down into the neck of the bottle below the U-shaped hole. 6. Make four small holes in the sides of the soda bottle. Feed the ends of the elastic bands through the holes and tie them off so they can be pulled back through. Seal the holes with glue to prevent leaks. (The instructions mention carrying a bottle of vinegar to soak the mouth cover before putting on the mask, but I'm not sure what purpose this serves). Note: I've also seen wads of paper towels used instead of a face mask to plug up the neck of the bottle. Use whatever is close at hand. This isn't meant to be perfect, but should be enough to get you out of the area. I do it for others too, and I still love the smile that blooms on people's faces.
Tade Humbuggin' Tho skeet: Here's a simple happiness hack: Do something for someone that is truly altruistic. Do it in secret if you can, and take no credit, if you can manage that in a world that sees everything. Do this as often as your circumstances allow, which may be once a year or once a day.
