Hey folks. I am being unfairly labeled as “Transphobia (General)” because I am non-binary but use word “mom” in my bio. I will not bow to anyone else’s demand that I perform my gender to their standards.

One of the things that brings me the greatest despair in authoritarianism is watching people react to state violence the way they react to domestic violence.

By justifying anything and everything the perpetrators does through blaming a victim for failing to be submissive enough.

Kristi Noem is standing on the roof of the ICE building here in Portland trying to act like she’s bravely observing the insurrection (there’s like 5-10 people nearby yelling profanity at her) and she’s started telling the feds to shoot incendiary rounds in to a nearby lot to get fire for her LARP.

We keep us safe.

And WE are the ones who are going to save ourselves from fascism.

But I am also aware that at this point, it may take decades to do so.

And we are going to take heavy losses in that time.

The best way to avoid the worst is a general strike.

But we have to organize and act quickly. We need people to DO things.

Yeah we are losing ground quickly. The 1st amendment is all but shredded. Noem is attacking the 3rd with the bathroom stunt.

One state's NatGuard has invaded another.

The Everglades concentration camp is still open and people are being sent there.

I'm gonna push back a little here.

The ICE resistance in LA *is definitely* working.

Is it stopping kidnappings completely? No.

Is it frustrating ICE and making their jobs more difficult? Fuck yes.

And we actually preventing kidnappings? More than you'll see on social media.

I probably didn't explain myself well. It's not about being hopeful. What I see is people thinking that we are putting up a resistance, and that resistance is effective. Like it's stopping them or slowing them down. It's not.
