I actually learned yesterday that peaceful resistance to dictatorships are historically 2.5 times more likely to be successful. So here’s to hoping that we can stay peaceful even if they don’t.

The more people who show up, the fewer who will be able to be misled. They were there. They saw it themselves. The protest I attended yesterday had several thousand people but we were next to a busy street where thousands more drove by. The lies start becoming obvious. That works against them.

There’s still 3.5 years left in orange Mussolini’s term. I will be shocked if it resolves without violence. It’s just not how dictatorships typically fall.

I still suspect that many of these people aren’t agents at all but just cosplay racist assholes impersonating officers. It should be illegal to not wear official identification and cover faces.
