Ive been meaning to get into Steven Universe and the first thing I noticed is that, while other children’s cartoons stay clear of words like “die” or “kill” opting for “eliminate” or “destroy”, SU doesn’t care. They use those words even referring to people

I get the vibe that some people think that VR will die.
I don’t agree. I think it’ll keep going out of necessity. Right now, VR social interaction is basically impervious to bots. You can be certain that each interaction you have is real. You can’t be sure nearly anywhere on the internet.

I find it funny that I’ll save a game multiple times before closing it “just in case” but with documents, I’ll click close and save on the “close without saving” dialogue.

My small Linux server now entirely runs via docker containers.
No handmade jank scripts. No random programs launched at startup in random folders.
Just nice dashboards and centralized performance metrics.
All for services that average 0 users. Oof.

A food tip for anyone in the US. 9 times out of 10, if a brand does a quirky spelling of a food, it’s because it’s fake.
“Mac n’ Cheeze” = doesn’t have to have cheese. Probably doesn’t.
“Chick’n” = same story.
Vegan brands use this too but be careful of disingenuous actors
