AI, data & digital tech have huge potential in healthcare, but the focus has been on the tech itself, not the people using it. Our research highlights NHS staff & patients: exploring how AI might save time, ease pressure & improve care.

- The government’s 10 year plan gives few details on how it will be achieved, financed, and delivered
- Delivery of the plan should focus on the top priorities, engaging with those who use and work in the NHS
Wider structural determinants of health need to be tackled

The new 10-Year Health Plan for England is ambitious, yet in many ways, familiar. This BMJ Commission Analysis article discusses the evidence (or lack of) behind the Plan, asks what is missing & what it might take for it to be successful. Read the article: ths.im/3VIc23l @marydixonwoods.bsky.social
