This design system remains one of my proudest achievements. ~100 components, ~90 releases, 400k+ insertions over 2 years. Built from scratch, a11y out of the box, and with detailed documentation and release notes. But even with clear ROI, org buy-in is the hardest component to design.

Pretty bummed about Pocket's shutdown. I was a top 1% Pocket reader in 2022 thanks to its Listen feature. Despite it being pretty buggy, I used it often enough to rival my podcast player. It goes to show that when a product nails the JTBD, users will tolerate a lot.

In the grand scheme of things, Montreal's city snow removal service is world-class. But the private services however… oof. Every year I question whether or not the expense is worth it.
