As a someone who has photographed people that have power/influence, I view Miller's comments as an attempt to regain some of the "power" one gives up when having their portrait taken. As a subject, you are putting your full trust with the photographer. Thus, the veiled threat at the end.

I do not recall the price, but I had my wedding & reception at this location. We had around 120 people. It was quite nice.
