I feel like the show a few years ago, when they were literally rushing people off stage after like 15 seconds, just so Geoff had enough time to squeeze in all his celebs+Kojima, should've shown even us players that TGAs were no longer actually about games and the people behind them

Much of the hand wringing, imo, is over a critic explicitly saying they are judging the moral fabric of a piece of art because of the tools used to create it and it’s making some folks feel uncomfortable and shamed. The people who feel that way should sit with that feeling.

Not to say you shouldnt watch it. Who doesnt want to at least tune in for possible game reveals? But maybe spread some love to the other game award shows this year too
