It is amazing what we can see with SWOT… In our Nature Comms paper we report observations of a tsunamis induced seiche in Greenland. With a little bit of Bayesian inference to rule out other possibilities for the anomaly.

In the 1960s Munk and Cartwright developed the Response Method for analysis of ocean water levels but it has always been challenging to use. We have overcome these using machine learning to automate the analysis (published in JGR-ML). Please try our open source code: RTide doi.org/10.1029/2024...
