In FL I was killed in a crash in ‘96 and revived at the scene by an FHP State Trooper. So, I might be a bit biased but FL gets the worst rating for me. I just moved from there and they aren’t adjacent now so I might be an outlier or otherwise skew the sample results.

I inadvertently left off Von Steuben. I saw a letter from George Washington to the Prussian Kaiser thanking the Kaiser for graciously allowing Von Steuben to serve on our side during the war. It’s in Hohenzollern Castle.

We requested an OIG audit once. They had five recommendations/findings. Four were clerical errors soon corrected. The fifth was “nothing wrong with this but you could do better”. The media ran with the initial OIG report’s findings and accused us of incompetence and being “politics hacks”.

The funny thing is I think he did 18 years at USSS so even with his FBI time he still won’t have twenty years and collect a pension. Plus, why did he leave the Secret Service at 18 years anyway?
