Lots of interests - really too many to list (bicycling, hiking, Sci-fi, Gardening, etc) . Still learning how this all works. Navy Submarine Vet, Mizzou J-School, Babson MBA. Currently working at Microsoft; Toots are my own. Preferred pronouns he/him/his.
Lovely ride just ahead of the rain this evening. Picture of course doesn't do it justice but the sky was dark and the rain was starting to fall. #bicycling

Cool to see this bicycle mobile voting station from China at the Carter Museum in Atlanta. #bicycling #Voting

They really are a lot of fun. Love smoking our turkey at Thanksgiving in our BGE.

Yep, they are still out there. Here's one in Virginia north of Richmond from 2023 when I rode from Richmond, VA to New Haven, CT on the East Coast Greenway.

Lovely bike ride this afternoon. One of those rare Spring days in New England where it's warm and sunny and perfect for a bike ride. #BikeTooter #bicycling #EastCoastGreenway #Cycling #bike #Surly

9 years ago my father Larry Hubbard left us. A picture from near the end and one from my time in the Navy. Having a glass of Weller which he always said was "the good stuff" #CancerSucks

16 years of service. Power Outage killed it. New ONT installed. Internet is back. Watch out world.

Peanut oil acquired. I've been frying a turkey every Thanksgiving since 2000. This year I had to switch to 1-gallon containers because the price per oz was significantly cheaper than the 3-gallon container. Not sure why but I'm ready and that's one more item off the T-Day checklist.

My recent bike tour was a success. Over 1,000 miles and zero flats. Pittsburgh to DC via the GAP Trail and C&O Canal Towpath Trail, then from Richmond to New Haven, CT on the #EastCoastGreenway. #bicycling #biketouring

Recently visited the USS Bullhead Memorial in Albuquerque. Wasn't expecting to find a Submarine memorial in New Mexico but I stopped by to acknowledge and honor those Submariners lost at Sea. While the plaque is looking a little worse for the wear, the torpedoes were very pretty. #Submarines

Happy with the Day Lilies this year. They are looking good.

"One man gathers what another man spills...." found $1.60 in loose change on my bike ride today.

Peonies are really something, year after year. This one is about to pop open but the cool, cloudy weather is slowing it down.

Good training ride today - banged out 44 miles and even picked up a couple of Weiners for a mid-ride snack.

The Southside Community Lant Trust sale continues for the 2nd Day. Biggest selection of Heirloom tomato plants, plus many other plants, in Providence and Rhode Island. Biggest fundraiser of the year - helping people grow food. #Gardening #Tomatoes #Providence #RhodeIsland

Every time my alarm goes off at 4am, I'm thankful for my Navy training. This morning at least there was a lovely sunrise.
