Just finished reading this novel, went searching for reviews to see what others thought, and found this one by Nathan Blum that sums up so many of my impressions of the book.

Just finished reading this novel, went searching for reviews to see what others thought, and found this one by Nathan Blum that sums up so many of my impressions of the book.
It's quite striking how few opportunities for support -- residencies, fellowships, grants, anything -- exist for writers who are parents and don't have a spouse (or family $) shouldering the financial burden.

For #Mainz05 fans on here, Japanese midfielder Sota Kawasaki appears to be incoming. Kyoto Sanga announced that he'll be leaving the club tomorrow to complete an overseas transfer. Seemed to come up as a 6, but he's moved further forward in the midfield and has four goals this season. #Bundesliga
