I’m just a man, looking for a way through.
Prices are up. Anger is up. Fears are up. Even MAGA supporters are getting concerned.

Focus. Let your anger fuel you, your fears guide you, your welcoming to those disgruntled assist you.

Only a country truly United can stand against the evil that is on the horizon.

Our future selves will look back on how we responded to our present.

Let Future You look back with pride.

Maybe that person will be scarred or suffered loss.

Sacrifice is sometimes necessary. It isn’t easy. And neither will our future be. But we can be prepared.

When the system collapses, it’s the end of A world, not the end of THE world.

There are people who care about others, people who would do the hard work to care for others because it’s the right thing to do.

Profit is not the goal.

Thriving, together, is the goal.

Apathy will turn to rage. Compliance to rebellion.

It is in those that feel betrayed the most that the retaliation will come from stronger.

If a MAGA changes their mind and wants to know what they can do… TELL THEM. Help them.

Converts are more dedicated because of their new disloyalty.

As the systems start to fall apart, remember that it is not your neighbor that undid it.

It is not the small business owner trying to survive that caused the increase in prices.

It is not the person that is processing your claim denial that stopped your procedure.

Remember to be civil and kind.

Following the announcement of *insert anything the President or his stand in have said* and I feel like no one on the Republicans side are thinking long term.

Future generations will look back on these times and weep.

We could have had it better. We are better. But others chose themselves.

I started writing REALLY short stories and posting them at my work as a way of engagement. Over the years, I’ve compiled quite a few of these works.

Some are serial, others one shots.

Debated on publishing a compilation digitally.

Anyone else get anxious over this kind of act?!

If the way things are do not meet the needs of most people, without expectation of their sacrifice, then the way things are are wrong.

We should not have to sacrifice our families (time) to be able to provide for them.

Technology is to make lives easier and, one day, not have to work to survive.

I keep seeing people be like “I’m useless. I have no skills. How can I help?”

So I made a list of skills to learn so we can start pulling labor away from the capitalists and into our own communities.

Eliminate the Dept of Ed.

Get rid of nonpartisan gov employees.

Repeal Voting Rights.

Eliminate multiple society supporting programs, all in the name of reducing government spending.

Many states depend on federal funding. They are only hurting themselves.

We have the technology to exist in small, independent communities with modest initial financial investment.

“Freedom” by @daniel-suarez.com shows an example in its fictional world.

Those smaller communities can work together, not under the influence of Corporations.

Refusing to confirm to the System results in the System punishing you.

When the laws meant to protect are used to oppress, it is time for new laws.

When the oppressors are those in charge, then those that are oppressed must take charge.

Lots of Executive Orders. Not a lot of work being done to improve our amazing economy or bring down our costs.

Pain and punishment is what they know. Terrorism and instilling fear is what they do.

Let not the Orange peel back the progress our country made. Give them not an inch w/o resisting.

It’s okay to be “weird”. It’s okay to be unique. It’s okay to be different. It’s okay to be “you”. Because you are enough. Just the way you are. 🖤

Week 2 starts tomorrow. Will we see backtracking over some of the Week One EOs?

What horrible, inhumane actions will we see from their Administration this week?

To help mitigate some of the depression, I’m going to be kind to others and offer hugs where I can, too.

Telling people to pull themselves up implies there is some guaranteed level to be lifted up to.

It is a pyramid where each level doesn’t have as much space as the previous.

Not everyone can be at the top. There is not an infinite amount of high paying jobs.

Gonna be real, having a hard time feeling powerless about what is happening in this country while caring so deeply about its negative impacts on the environment and our people while also feeling the pressure to remain polite because I’m job hunting and disapproval could cost me an opportunity
