So I spent a while remaking the title screen load code only to realise the reason it was taking so much longer than a normal island was because the file for it had all the objects in one big list instead of being broken up in to chunks😓

Quest UI so far.
Think I'll keep the Requests to the Town Menu, since they're NPC related. Now I just need to figure out how I'm gonna do Side Quests.
I could reuse the same UI, but I need a scroll bar or some way of cycling through any active side quests

Adding a key system for Gates and stuff (on top of the existing Button system which is now over-rided by keys)
I can also have other conditions like a specific number of enemies need to be killed before they open.
Need to fix the collision detection.

Mob locks work!
Activating the Beacon lock the gate and spawns mobs, killing them all grants a reward and unlocks it letting you out again!

Updating my water again, added some stuff under to make things more visually pleasing. I think I need the tint back or maybe to try different blending.
Kinda want to try a displacement map again instead of the directional movemenet?

New AoE spell sprites. I think the Fire one needs something in the middle, and they all need particles.
Kinda want the Ice one to look more like it's growing rather than just moving. But these will do for now!

omg the reason Pedestal items weren't floating wasn't because of culling, it was because I wasn't activating the tween!
I was only setting the tween!
