New addition to The Good Practice Library!

Our new guest blog is by Collett O’Connor, Program Officer at @closethegap.org.uk

It looks at:
➡️Violence against women (VAW) as a workplace issue
➡️Intersectionality and VAW
➡️Steps employers can take to embed gender equality and tackle VAW in workplaces
Guest blog: are we equally safe at work? "Abuse does not end when a woman leaves her home for work. For many, the workplace becomes another site of control. When employers fail to respond meaningfully to these realities, they risk becoming complicit in sustaining harm." Link in bio.

We've been looking at the numbers when it comes to charities and AI🧑‍💻

76% of charities (2025 Charities Digital Report) are now using AI in their day-to-day work, but only a fraction of organisations have policies in place or are training staff on AI use (JRF, 2024).

New blog posted!

In the second edition in our series with Neighbourhood Networks, we look at the steps to take when planning how to build lived experience into your organisation's board governance.

Read the full blog via THRE's website ⬇️

How to: build lived experience into board governance. "“We attended THRE’s ‘Governance – A Human Rights and Equalities First Approach’ training which highlighted that just having lived experience within the board and governance wasn’t enough. This led to a conversation at the organisation and the realisation that we wanted to create a safe space where our members were comfortable sharing their opinions and able to express their needs not only as members but also as people with different life experiences of having a disability.”

Don’t worry, that rough sketch is just the beginning! Storyboards map out the key moments in a film - they’re not final!
