The argument "If you're good AI won't replace you" doesn't even hold any weight. CEOs are replacing people with AI BECAUSE they're good, and the CEOs dont want to pay what they're worth...

...using what energy you have left after a workday to put a bit into art, which is often not a lot, or that you're already financially secure enough that you don't need a job to devote your time to drawing. So AI at industry level is, in fact, risking making art something only 'the elite' can enjoy.

A problem with the 'if you're a good artist, AI won't replace you' is that you aren't born a good artist. You learn. If entry level art jobs are taken over, then the only way to practice, learn and improve and still pay your bills is outside of a proffessional environment. Which means either... 1/2

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

My followers are still quite small in number and fragmented in taste, so a "favourite" is hard to pin down.
Ricka and Marleine are definitely up there, the former especially with some artists I've worked with.
Quynh, (bafflingly) Nicolas, Asmin and Heidi are also in contention.
