Urban Shadows is a Magpie Games product that has immaculate vibes focusing on playing a campaign that deals with supernatural politics.

Admittedly, this uses some mechanics that are a deal breaker for me (corruption leading to loss of character) but I like reading the feel of it and writing fic.

Fun bit I had in a #Wenclair AU fic where they're working for an Imp ( #kpdh 's Rumi). Enid is a courier and was delivering the Impala to the Winchesters after Rumi got it to Korea ... and had to go rescue Wednesday first.

"What the fuck?" The speaker was a square-jawed American man in his late forties but still in excellent condition as he watched a car pulling up to the garage he'd been waiting in with his brother for the last couple of hours. He looked at the dent on the bumper and the bloodstains across the hood. "Dean," another American said. This one was very tall with shaggy brown hair. "Wait." "Sam, I was promised that the Impala would be delivered intact," he snapped as the car pulled to a stop. He turned toward the driver's side and blinked at the blood covered teenager pulling it to a stop. Enid put the car into park and turned off the engine as she rolled down the window. "I'm sorry, can you step back? I'm bleeding and a werewolf." Dean took several steps back. "What the fuck happened?" "My fault." She opened the door and slowly stepped out, hands up. "Someone was trying to kidnap my roommate and I'm responsible for her safety. So, I had a detour." "What the hell were you fighting?" Dean asked. "Some kind of cult," Enid said. "I think they're called the Dragon." Sam and Dean exchanged a look and then turned back to her. "Please just, take the cleaning and repairs out of my delivery fee, this isn't Rumi's fault." "Uh, don't worry about it," Dean said, looking to the bumper and then the bloody driver's seat. "It's not as bad as I first thought." "Do you need medical attention?" Sam asked hesitantly. "I'm healing already," Enid said faintly. "Kid you sound like you're in shock." Dean noted. Enid considered that and nodded. "Yeah, probably. That makes sense. It also usually gets better in an hour or two." "Usually?" Sam said. "When was the last time this happened." "Camp." Enid said. "Just all of camp." She turned to Sam. "I don't usually talk about that. Do you have a place I can sit for a bit? Something easy to clean?"

Just saw @desertbus.org and Graham Stark passing around a colorful flag as they introduce each other, and it reminded me of my classroom aids Vicky, Stunt Vicky, and Teto.

I'd use Vicky on a lot of lessons and use Teto & Vicky for call and response.

Stunt Vicky came in when Vicky's wings broke.

Eloise Weaver, Lasombra who had spent three years trying to elude the vampire that would eventually sire her, died within a few days of fighting for her life against some thugs such that she has eternally has wounds that are just on the edge of healing. And in disguise so that her hair is stuck a dyed blue. A runaway Lasombra hiding from her sire and the rest of her clan among Anarchs. Tired. Done. And absolutely no patience with terrible people.

So been writing a Jentry Chau/K-Pop Demon Hunter fanfic and one of the side plots is supernatural stuff going public.

Figured @gailsimone.bsky.social would definitely have something for people harassing someone who has an agent to purely regain control of her image

I found this small hairdresser's place in 2012 when I first moved to Fukushima to teach. (I'm back in the States now) It's a hairdresser's shop a bit south of Fukushima train station.

It always has the look of a cursed store-front... the name "Victim" just stood out.

"Yeah, I learned not long after you visited," the manager said, looking her over. "So, how did you get involved?" "It's kind of a beggars can't be choosers situation, I think," Jentry said nervously and shrugging. "I wouldn't be my first choice either." "Hey," Moonie said looking around the tower as they walked through the lobby. "This is an impressive place." "It is, yeah," Bobby explained, he gestured. "It's over here, you remember the elevator, right Jentry?" "This one?" Moonie asked as she came up to the keypad, stared at it and tapped a few keys. "Yeah, I'll be right there to let us..." Bobby stopped as the elevator doors popped open. "...in?" "Sorry, old habits," Moonie said, smirking, stepping back. "Won't happen again." "Ah, right," Jentry said, brows showing frustration deep enough to pinch the bridge of her nose without need for her fingers. "Mr. Bobby, let me introduce you to my mom, the retired level 20 rogue." "Please, I've got epic levels," Moonie responded. "Mom, please," Jentry said. "Okay, that's a thing I didn't expect to hear today," the manager said. "Well, let's get you up to the girls." The elevator started up and after a few moments, Jentry turned to look at where her mother was mouthing off numbers and tapping her fingers regularly against her side. She looked up with wide eyes into Moonie's eyes and darted her eyes back down to the hand and back up. Moonie, nodded, mouthing "oh right" and lifted her fingers up to her handbag strap and keep her fingers still while biting her lip. There was a few seconds more up several stories. "You're still casing the place, aren't you?" Jentry asked in Chinese. "Can't really turn it off, Jentry, sorry," she responded honestly. Jentry nodded and sighed, then the door opened.

Stella touched up her make up and then stepped back to take a look at herself. She was wearing a knee-length brown denim skirt with yellow and orange stitching and a sunrise orange blouse. She wore a pair of orange boots styled as cowboy boots, but with flat heels for comfortable walking. "Okay, okay... looks good," she said, then thought about it. "I may need to diversify my outfits a bit. This is basically just my normal orange shirt and blue jeans with the drama slider set up to max." She reached up to her braids and slowly undid one. "Braids... or loose?" Thick white line with the words "SKIP SOME" on either side indicating the next part is after some skipped text. A fifteen minute talk later, an exasperated Stella was standing up as her mother left the room. She had to admit that her hair looked good, hanging mostly loose with a braided cord over each ear met each other the back of her head and laid back down over the rest of her loose hair. Tokki was still wearing the coat, but the hood was down, revealing that so was her hair, in a layered effect that had her red hair framing her face and cascading down her back like silk curtains. Stella thought she may have been used a straightener, but she'd never seen Tokki's hair down, so it might just be that thick and straight. The coat was open, framing a sleeveless green dress with a choker-style collar with a wide, silver belt around her waist. The dress itself continued down to just above the ankles that were covered by high black socks. She was wearing a pair of heels, not particularly high, but definitely with a bit of elevation. To be perfectly honest, they were teenagers that still had a lot of growing to do, both physically and emotionally. They were cute, adorable even, with a look much closer to prom than bowling night, but still perfectly reasonable first date looks. The kind of look that if someone looked at a picture would say "well, it's a good look". But Stella and Tokki were both teenagers currently in a state of heightened emotions and each building this up way past objective reality. So to each other, they were the epitome of glamour and beauty.

"And now, we'd like to welcome to the show Huntrix!" Zoey came out first, followed by Mira and then Rumi. Each of them having a longer skirt than the first one, starting with a brilliant blue miniskirt for Zoey, a knee-length scarlet split skirt for Mira, and then a flowing ankle-length royal purple. There blouses were mostly a matching color to their skirts save for the presence of a white triangle with a yellow heart in the middle. The triangle and heart was on Zoey's right-shoulder and arm, across both shoulders on Mira with the heart on her chest, and finally Rumi was the only one not sporting sleeves, and the triangle and heart covered most of the left-side of her blouse, front and black. "Thank you for having us!" Rumi said smiling as she sat next to Mira. Leaning over she whispered to keep the mic from picking up. "This was very not subtle." "It isn't meant to be," Mira responded. "Oh, wow the social media," Zoey added as she suppressed a giggle. And then all three turned their attention to the interview. One of the polyamory flag designs with stripes in blue, pink/red, and purple with a large white triangle on the left hand side and a yellow heart in the center of the triangle. The purple stripe is the longest as only the very top of it is cut off by the white triangle.

Terminal Book: This story never ends and is almost impossible to put down. It’s also a thoroughly disappointing read, as if it can sense your preferences, build on them, and then twist them in the least enjoyable way possible. Readers can’t escape and may die reading it. If a hunter starts reading the book and tries to stop, roll +Cool. • On a 10+, you put the book down and realise what’s happened. • On a 7–9, you choose one: realise what’s happening and ask for help, or put the book down without noticing anything is wrong. • On a miss, “This is such a train wreck, I’ve gotta keep reading.” Stress Ball: This ball absorbs the stress and anxiety of the person squeez- ing it, clearing all negative emotions instantly. When it fills up, the next person to use it experiences all that stored stress and anxiety at once. Bystanders are totally incapacitated. Hunters must act under pressure or suffer the consequences of all that stress. • On a 10+, you weather the shock but get –1 forward. • On a 7–9, you suffer a severe anxiety attack. Either suffer 1-harm ignoring armour, or take –1 ongoing until you have a chance to relax normally. • On a miss, you suffer a heart attack, taking 3-harm ignoring armour.
