I simply don’t consider it cheating, cheating is using a camera to steal signs or throwing games on purpose, I don’t think drugs rise to that level

Fair enough, I simply don’t care what he was doing—hundreds of other players did it and got away with it, we’ll never know who was doing what or when, there are dozens of other drugs people did all the time, etc etc

That makes sense, it would also work if the chance of getting the conversion is 30%—the trick here is knowing exactly what you need to tie/win the game, that’s actually worth a measurable amount of points
