I haven't shared much here lately, but I've been developing this tool over the past few months.

Nice! I have experimented with some Brazilian theses on Wikidata a while ago too:

tiago.bio.br/bioinfo_bras...

For me, the good viz via Query Service + disambiguation of authors + topics modelled with persistent identifiers were key pluses

I think the reason behing Quickstatements being a super star of Wikidata is that it feels _so good_ to run a batch!

Leveraging the new version Quickstatements V3, I am now adding BHL Title IDs for Wikidata items with BHL DOIs:
qs-dev.toolforge.org/batch/256/

It is so satisfying to see it running!

This is a favourite!

As a small trivia, Descourtilz died and was burried in the very small city of "Riacho", in Espírito Santo, Brazil. The location of the grave is unknown, but I have this little impulse in me to go try and rediscover it. Who knows?

J'exécute actuellement de gros lots pour les données structurées, donc la catégorisation manuelle est un peu hors de mon champ d'action. Mais ils sont super bienvenus ! :)

Today I am adding Structured Data for Broinowski's The Birds of Australia!

commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Categor...

While our current focus is on South America and Africa, there is a decent amount of southern birds that are common to SA, AF and Australia, like the black-browed albatross.

I call it persistent.

One thing @biodivlibrary.bsky.social is increasingly doing is becoming a home for "orphaned" journals (and their @crossref.bsky.social DOIs). Even major publications such as Mycotaxon can come to an end, which raises the question who looks after them one they stop publishing?
