For some reason doxycycline is making me feel like this half the time which I didn’t have the last time I took it. Safe to say I’ve not been able to sit at my desk to work. I’m not behind schedule but if you haven’t heard progress from me about your commission, this chest infection is why.

Latest WIP sneak peek of my piece for @taplingzines.bsky.social ! I've gone for pencil for my linework this time as I really wanted a softer look thank I usually get with inks.

❄️Sir Windy's Winter Journey❄️

Last art of the year, and a fun piece! This was a commission for @hamishsteele.bsky.social as a Christmas gift for @lukehealy.bsky.social of his DnD character.

The donkey has a red saddle & reins with bells on the nose band and a blue saddle cloth with decorative stars. They are in a snowy landscape, the footprints show they have been walking in circles. Behind is a stone wall and behind that evergreen trees & snowy ruins far off in the distance against the dusk. The illustrated border is of tangled holly & ivy plants entwining around spoons. Not had time for a new holiday piece but I still really like this wintry 1800s butchfemme couple that I never shared here.

Originally a missionary from Colossae in what is now modern day Turkey; she famously gave her skewered eyes to the Pictish King Nechtan II to stop his unwanted advances since he loved her eyes so much.
