For some reason I've suddenly remembered those two Palestine activists who were convicted of harassment (later overturned on appeal) for filming themselves asking a Labour MP questions about Gaza.

Today I learned that stalking a 17 year old girl, writing up a 400 page 'dossier' about her, falsely reporting her to the police and smashing her phone does not constitute 'harassment'.

One wonders what *would*.

Carved in Stone: The Miracle Worker.

In this piece is a saintly figure who has travelled from abroad bringing his Christian faith with him and performing a miraculous healing on a blind Pictish man.
A dark skinned man with a beard and long hair gently holds the head of a kneeling Pict with one hand while touching their eyes with his fingers, implying healing. Although from overseas he is wearing the local style of clothing, including a fur cloak clasped with a penannular brooch implying he is a man of means. The blind man being healed has ginger hair & a beard and wears a simple white tunic; he holds a painted quartz stone. Behind the healer are members of his own entourage as well as locals taking interest including a small child. They all stand in front of a loch landscape.

I was thrilled to be one of the many illustrators contributing to @stoutstoat.co.uk's 'Carved in Stone'
In this piece are monks from the Ionian & Roman traditions debating the calculation of Easter.

I'll be sharing more over the coming days!
A mixed group of Ionian & Roman monks are sat around a table with manuscripts & loose pages. Two of the monks are clearly arguing while one behind them worriedly looks to heaven. A monk to the left, is trying to grab the book away from the arguing pair while the two in the foreground gossip behind their hands.

From C6 BC hoard found in Ortanova near Foggia in Puglia, representing material culture of indigenous Daunian people.
